Hello. I am a textile artist and a creative dance teacher. My art practice includes hand and machine stitched textiles with mixed media, and my creative dance sessions are underpinned by Rudolf Laban’s principles of movement.
I make, teach and choreograph, always touching nature somewhere along the line.

STITCHED TEXTILE WORKSHOPS
Autumn Leaves and Lacy Cobwebs
October 10th 2025 10am – 3pm
Becca’s Fabric Larder, South Street, Bridport, Dorset
Create an autumn scene with cobwebs and skeleton leaves to decorate a picture, or a panel. We shall use soluble material to free machine on with lovely autumn colours. Once stitched the piece is dissolved in warm water revealing just the stitching. Then it can be moulded into shape.

..DANCING INTO ELEMENTAL ART
These workshops provide creative time out of the hustle and bustle of the busy world. Working alone and with others in this beautiful area of west Dorset, nature and the elements come together in our dance and art. No experience is necessary, just a desire to experience nature through our creativity.
We work in Salway Ash Village Hall, near Bridport combining dance and art, inspired by a walk in the lovely West Dorset countryside; on a hill fort, by the sea or in ancient woodlands.
